Canine Bowen Therapy (CBT)
Canine Bowen Technique seeks to offer dogs (and their owners) a gentle, and non-invasive hands-on technique that aims to support and promote the body’s natural ability to heal, relax, and balance.
There is no hard tissue manipulation, no crunching or cracking of joints. The technique uses a gentle ‘rolling’ movement over precise points on the body to stimulate the tissue below (muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia (the bodies connective tissue).
McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release® for Dogs
The McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release® for dogs (MSTR®) is a hands-on, effective and gentle technique that can help to address the pain, restrictions and appearance of scar tissue.
A scar is a traumatic occurrence to the body regardless of whether through injury or surgery (planned or otherwise). Scar tissue can also form from muscle tears, overuse, even ill fitting collars or harnesses.
Your dog is ALWAYS given the choice if THEY wish to receive MSTR®. They will always be given the choice and freedom to walk away. I will NEVER force the technique onto a dog.
Canine Bowen Therapy
Just like human Bowen Therapy, Canine Bowen Therapy does not treat named conditions and ultimately aims to promote better health and well-being of the dog.
